Information Management for Fleet and Mobility Professionals

Online Certificate Program

June 1-3, 2026  |  1:00-3:00 p.m.

While many organizations have IT teams to support fleet management, it is critical for fleet managers to understand basic IT concepts. This knowledge enables them to collaborate effectively with IT staff, address challenges, and optimize system functionality.  This discipline provides fleet managers with the tools and insights needed to navigate a data-rich but information-scarce environment, leveraging technology to drive smarter decisions and operational efficiency.

Through three live virtual sessions, participants will be able to engage in instructor-led lessons, question and answer sessions, and have access to a knowledgeable expert. Upon conclusion of the three-part course, participants will gain access to the Information Management Certificate program exam, a 50-question multiple-choice test that can be taken anytime, anywhere (system requirements apply). Those who successfully pass the exam (one year from date of purchase) will be awarded a professional certificate.

This course will cover the discipline’s competencies, including:

  • Introduction to Fleet Information Management
  • Fleet Information Management Systems
  • System Selection and Implementation
  • Telematics
  • Data Management and System Administration
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
